If you’re an 18-35 year old adventure traveller then the Habibi is perfect for you! Enjoy an action-packed sailing cruise through the magnificent Whitsunday Islands in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This 2 day 2 night journey will take you to the best anchorage points that the Whitsundays have to offer, including beautiful fringing coral reefs, world-famous pristine Whitehaven Beach, and the Instagram-worthy Hill Inlet Lookout. Spend your days exploring, and your nights socialising in secluded coves under the beautiful Australian skies.
Habibi departs Coral Sea Marina at 2pm and sails to Hook Passage where you will enjoy your first snorkelling activity. The beautiful coral gardens are abundant with colourful marine life and unusual ocean flora. As you dry off, you will cruise to either Nara Inlet or Tongue Bay for a beautiful Whitsunday sunset and your first overnight anchorage.
Your crew will rise early to try to be one of the first boats to arrive at Whitsunday Island for your bushwalk to the famous Hill Inlet Lookout and view over the picturesque Whitehaven Beach. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy this view without anyone else on the beach and take your important holiday snaps. After 2-3 hours enjoying the pure silica sand of Whitehaven Beach, your crew will whisk you away for an exciting sail to Hook Island.
Take this opportunity to winch the sails, take the helm, and learn everything you can about sailing and the reef from your knowledgeable crew. This afternoon you will enjoy at least two stunning snorkel locations chosen using insider information and local knowledge from Blue Pearl Bay, Langford Reef, Mantaray Bay, Maureens Cove, Cataran Bay, Stone Haven, and Pitt Stop. Habibi will then anchor in one of the protected coves of Hook Island to ensure you enjoy your final night with a drink in hand, a gorgeous sunset, and new friends.
Your crew will motor to Habibi’s final snorkel destination to give you the best chance of a pre and post breakfast snorkel before having you back in Coral Sea Marina by 11:30am.
Please note: All overnight tours are subject to tidal conditions, weather, and the professional judgement of your captain.
